Though I hail from the South Indian State of Kerala, presently I stay in the Central Indian State of Chhattisgarh. Both these states have some thing in common. Both are famous for natural beauty. At the same time, the infamous extremist movement which originated in India-Naxalism- also became world famous due to these two states. Naxallite groups tried their extremist violence in the early Nineteen Seventys in Kerala. But it could not survive there because of the fast pace social development there. Now, due to economic and social imbalances, this new state of Chhattisgarh has become a hot brewing spot of such derailed groups.
